A giant Swallowtail. We have lots of these right now so you will see more photos soon.
This is a Spinx moth, otherwise known as a hummingbird month. They always show up in late summer/early fall. They are very fast a resemble a tiny humminbird. They are very neat to watch.

Have you ever considered being a professional photographer? Your work is stunning... I don't even like bugs and yet I enjoyed your pictures.
In my dreams! Really, I'm not that good. Plus, I really enjoy taking photos for fun. Its relaxing and a hobby....and I love standing in the hot sun in the back yard for hours waiting for bugs or other animals to appear. If I was a professional I feel that I would put too much pressure on myself and it wouldn't be fun anymore. Just saying...
