There are lots of wild horses and cattle on the island. Its not uncommon to see horses or cows standing in front of someones house.

Grand Turk Island of the Turks and Caicos Islands - British West Indies
The first stop on our cruise was Grand Turk. We took an excursion on shore riding dune buggy's around the island. It was a really neat way to see the island, on road and off. Grand Turk is about 7 miles long and 3 miles wide so were able to see pretty much everything Grand Turk had to offer like the prison, hospital and the dump. The coolest thing we saw was the lighthouse. We also stopped for a short hike. Well worth the money we paid.
