Praying (or is it Preying) Mantis
I'm not sure I ever saw black and white bees before I moved to Arizona. Or maybe I just never took the time to notice.
I'm not sure what kind of moth this is yet...doing some research. I do like how he's sneaking up on that little aphid. Goooo get em.
This is a skipper
This is a Rustic Sphinx Moth. I saw one a few years ago and then haven't seen any until this year. Now, they seem to be all over the place. They can get pretty big.

Hm...If they're INSIDE the house I err on the side of get-rid-of-them. Outside, well, they're fairly free to do as they please! You get some amazing shots! I'm thinking I should have a bit of lens envy - probably camera envy altogether!
Melisa - I tend to have to agree with you. If they are in my territory they have to be removed..gently to the outdoors (except if its a silverfish, bedbud, scorpian or spider as they all can be smashed. Thankfully we don't have bedbugs but if we did... Anyway, thanks for the comment. I really like taking pictures of bugs..just not sure if people actually like looking at them ;-)
