Madera Canyon

Jim and I went for a short hike this morning out to Madera Canyon. We stopped at the Santa Rita Lodge to take pictures of the birds at their feeders. It was really fun to see all the different kinds of birds. There were a big group of Wild Turkeys. I know it looks like at the zoo or something but the Turkeys are really wild. There was also Acorn Woodpeckers, Black headed Grosbeak, Blue Grosbeak, Blue Jays and plenty more.

The birds are awesome! What you called a blackheaded grosbeak is what I called an evening grosebeak.....it is just like the one I had at the feeder here when I was talking to you. They are such a beautiful bird.....Love your pictures!
