Sacre-Coeur and Montmarte Place de Tertre

I hit the shopping district and found it very hard to tear myself away, however, I could not miss my last stop. Sacre-Coeur is the big white church on the hill. Montmarte is the area of town and Place de Tertre is a plaza nearby that Picaso, Renoir and Monte used to set up their easels and paint. I enjoyed this area of town so much. The steps of the cathedral is a gathering place for people to hang out and watch the city. The photos speak for themselves. Did I mention it was on a hill. Lots more steps.

And so I flew out the next morning for home. I could have spent a lot more time in Paris and I hope I can go back soon!
