April was a sad month for us. Jim's father passed away on April 8th. He was a fews day shy of his 69th birthday. He was a wonderful man. He bravely fought his health issues for many years. He had a heart transplant 19.5 years ago so that was pretty amazing.. He will be missed.
We are appreciative of each who came and visited him and sang hymns to him in the hospital and hospice... For those who sat by his side and held his hand... For each who shared a sweet memory to us... and for those that opened their homes and their hearts to us over the last month.
We are also so thankful for all our friends that sent cards and e-mails. We are thankful for each one who made the effort to come to the funeral. We know that some of you had to take time off work and we are so appreciated. We are also thankful for our dear friends who made the day trip to Phoenix to attend the funeral. Thank you so much for your support. I means so much to us.
My parents drove back to Arizona from Washington to be with and words cannot even express our thankfulness for their support as well.

Some friends in Phoenix let us stay with them. Beautiful house on a golf course.

A week after Jims dad's funeral, a dear friend of ours in Tucson passed away. He was 89. So the world is now lacking two very honerable men.
