Red Tailed Hawk
This beautiful Red Tailed Hawk was hanging out in our backyard several mornings in a row. It was with another hawk as well so I'm thinking this is a young hawk. I also saw them hanging out on the telephone poles around the neighborhood. I haven't seen them now for a while so maybe they found better hunting grounds.

Beautiful pictures, Donna! We have a lot of RTH's around here too. In fact, I've nearly driven off the road oogling at them sitting on the telephone pole wondering what they're looking at.:)
