Spring

So, it would seem like nothing is going on in our lives if you are relying on my blog to keep you updated. Actually, so much has been going on that I just haven't had time. My blogging time is usually in the morning and I have been running in the mornings so there goes the blog time. But today as I drink my coffe and try to come alive I will sit here and try to get caught up.

So Spring has sprung in Arizona. I'm thinking it is still winter in the rest of the country. Here were are dealing with blooming Mesquite trees and high pollen counts so the topic of most days are "how are your allergies doing?". Not something I had to deal with in my Washington days. The citris trees are blooming and I wish I could send the smell through the internet because it is amazing. There is a rabbit nesting in our back yard so I'm hoping to see baby bunnies soon. Some doves built a nest and laid two eggs a week ago so we should see babies born next Thursay or Friday. I love spring.

Casa Grande is coming up and we look forward to that. We will be going to #2 this year. Should be nice and hot by then.

Mom and Dad came and visited for 2 weeks and stayed with me while Jim went to Indiana and Illinois on another business trip. It was so fun to have them. My cousins, Tim and Kelsey were here from Calgary and it was fun to see them too. There are just too many pictures to post them all but here is a few of my favorites from the last few weeks. Enjoy ;-)

My wonderful and amazing parents!

A visit to Aqua Caliente Park - This is a Great Egret
Beautiful duck

I really could have watched this Great Egret for hours.  In fact...I think I might have.

Yes, I was watching and photographing the Great Egret and learning how it fishes...and I think my parents were bored.

Another night we took a picnic (Eeggees) to Columbus Park and then walked around the lake.  Amazing!

The ducks all flew into that big tree for the nights.  I did not know that ducks roosted in trees.
Sunset at Gates Pass and comet watching.
Kelsey!
