So, some of you know that I worked in the adoption field for 9 years. I helped families through the process of international adoption.  This morning when I was doing some cleaning a ran across a disk with this video that I made a few years ago when I worked in the field.  I never posted it anywhere and it was kind of just for me. However, I decided to post it today.  It almost made me cry all over again.  No, I don't have children of my own.  I have 500+ children. Some of these children are "my children" who I helped to get adopted. I was always saddened by the orphanage photos because the children looked so sad. They had that vacant look in their eyes. It really is amazing what love does and it shows when it is missing. A lot of these children are from Russia and Guatemala. Both countries have stopped adoptions. Its very sad to think of the children that will never have families because of politics.
